Today was the day we took the staff of Jamii and their families to a tea factory in the Nandi Hills west of Eldoret on the road to Uganda. We were told it would be a one hour drive. It was actually two and we were late arriving. We saw the very end of the tea processing for the day. The drive however was through some very beautiful countryside and we made it back to the guest house before a torrential downpour soaked us.
The day started with beautiful clear blue skies. Throughout the day we watched the clouds develop into thunderheads.
After our trip we had a wonderful lunch with the teachers back at the Noble Guest House. Here is Ann with teachers Jackie and Rachel.
