Count down has begun. Our 2016 Kizimani Team leaves this Friday, July 29 for our two week mission trip to Kenya. This will be my 5th year!
We have 26 wonderful team-mates who will be bringing school supplies, children's books, curriculum and math supplies, art and craft supplies, clothing and other supplies to our three communities in Kenya. We are looking forward to seeing our friends at Jamii School and holding our teacher training during our first week. Our second week we will be visiting and helping out at our medical clinic, distributing food and supplies, teaching sewing classes, and hosting a healing arts camp with students at New Dawn.

We heard today that the children at Jamii have been getting up at 6:30 am every morning to pray for our team since the beginning of their school year (January). Now that is humbling.
